BEHIND WAYUU: WHERE EVERY STEM BEGINS

In the floral industry, consistency doesn’t happen by chance. Every stem that performs well, whether at retail or in an event, reflects decisions made long before the flower is cut.

At Wayuu, that understanding has shaped the way we grow from day one.

Growth with Intention

Over the years, our expansion across the Bogotá savanna has been thoughtful and measured. Each new area has been selected for the right climate conditions and long-term production potential, not just for scale but for consistency.

Our portfolio has grown alongside us and today includes roses, spray roses, carnations, mini carnations, and alstroemerias. More than adding varieties, the focus has always been on how those varieties perform once they leave the farm.

Because in this industry, appearance matters, but reliability matters even more.

The Work Behind the Bloom

What happens inside the farm every day is what ultimately defines the product. Crop monitoring, harvesting practices, and post-harvest handling all play a role in how a flower opens, travels, and holds up in design work.

It is careful, disciplined work, often quiet and behind the scenes, but it makes the difference buyers notice.

Our teams understand that every stem represents a commitment. That mindset is part of what keeps quality consistent week after week.

People Make the Difference

Technology and infrastructure matter, but people remain at the center of everything we do.

Many of our team members have been with us for years, bringing experience and care to each stage of the process. Through training programs, educational support, and social initiatives, we continue investing in the people who make this work possible.

Their stability and dedication are reflected directly in the flowers we ship.

Looking Ahead

Today, Wayuu continues to grow its presence across international markets, supplying customers who prioritize consistency, visual impact, and dependable performance.

But even as we expand, one thing remains unchanged: quality starts at origin.

And for us, that work begins every single day in the field.
